We've split up our cannas and giving away the surplus tubers. There are two types: one with a stripy leaf and flame orange flowers (don't know the name), the other with giant lush green leaves but no flowers (Canna Musifolia). All the bits of tuber have signs if growth and need to be potted up asap.
Note these are tender perennials and will need rich, moist soil and over-winter protection ~ but they're glorious!
Also just dug up a spare achillea "Gold Plate"
