Technics HiFi CD player (Martlesham IP12)

This is about 10 years old and now surplus to my needs. It is in working order, but it sometimes cannot detectthat a CD has been inserted. My experience is that some CDs are fine all the time, others it cannot play. I haven't tried to clean the laser but that might help. It is possible to buy a replacement laser but I inherited another CD player so it wasn't worth pursuing that option. Complete with remote control.
