Garage Door Opener (Crestwood)

Long story short, the packaging of this Craftsman garage door opener is open, but to my knowledge the opener has never been used. It appears to work in that a little red light shows when buttons are pressed. It doesn't go with the garage door opener in our house, we just found it here when we moved in.
