Magnavox ZV427MG9 A VCR/DVDR (Westside (295 at Blanding))

Have the remote and the manual. DVD side works fine. VCR side starts to play for about 10 seconds then the unit shuts off! If someone needs a VHS player, and I assume the DVR works for recording TV broadcasts. I'll give it a week and then it goes to the curb.
