Hi all. Looking for a broken mechanical type project to help keep a friend (80s) occupied.
He has quite a few health conditions, but can chat for hours about fences he's built, engines he's repaired / ponds / toys etc etc
Do you have anything that we could put in his shed? Thinking something we could secure to his worktop so he could fettle and tinker. A project would be a fantastic distraction.
No electrics or models or toys as he "needs something he can get hold of properly with these old hands".
Maybe a mechanical type sewing machine, or tool? Any ideas welcome.
If you want it back after it's fixed ( no guarantees!!!!) All the better.
