Wood for carving (Pasadena)

Hi, I am looking for chunks or blocks of soft wood for hand carving. Basswood, black or white walnut, birch, cherry, cedar or cottonwood would work. Ideally no thinner than 2 inches thick and 4 inches wide. I need a few blocks larger than the basswood sold at most craft stores. Thank you for freecycling!
