The chairs are solidly-constructed from 2-inch lumber, and have cloth-covered seat and back pads; they're similar to what you might find in a library (they're old university housing furniture, I believe). Some of the legs have a small amount chewing damage (see photo; the household they came from had large dogs), though it does not impact their stability. Two of the chairs have arms, while the other two do not.
