A large Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) for a computer system. Lacks the internal lead acid cell.
These are usable as a 12v to 240v AC inverter with a little electrical knowledge. You just connect your 12 supply where the internal battery used to be. I have another one similar I use with a solar panel/battery in this way.
