This was brought to protect a foot from the water in the shower during the healing process. The podiatry team often recommends them, BUT you have to buy them yourself, and they are NOT CHEAP. Over £15 for this one. But, I was given it by my Mum, as she no longer wants it, so I want to pass it on to a care home (preferably) as they can use it for any residents as necessary. It has a neoprene cuff for the lower calf and a thick, sealed wedge-shaped bag for the person's foot. It is easily cleaned with a Clinnell wipe so that it may be used for various residents.
