Electric Sewing Machine (Tadcaster LS24)

Hi, bit of a long shot - does anyone have a working electric sewing machine they no longer use and would be willing to give away? I have several sewing projects in mind but I'm quite a sewing-novice so I'm unsure whether it'll be worth my while buying a machine in case I botch the tasks I'm planning! My sewing experience amounts to an unfinished skirt and waistcoat project we were tasked with at school (too many years ago to think about too much!), and occasional use of my Mum's old machine which my sister now has and it's proving tricky trying to borrow that/get it back to her as we live some distance from each other!
