Bought about 20 years ago from The Discovery Store in The Shires (as it was called then). Actually called a magma lamp, see pics, it uses a 30 watt light bulb (included) to heat up the wax, takes between 15-30 mins depending on ambient temp. Actual colour is vivid yellow when working.

Obviously, with 30 watts in the base, it does get warm to hot, so I'd say NOT suitable for youngsters. Got a video of it in action, but can't upload it to freegle. Any questions, just ask!
