We bought this from JL in June 2013 and it has been a marvelous machine.
It recently started producing loaves with a sunken top and we then noticed a crack in the black plastic colar near the hinge, (see photo) and that the lid does not sit down properly now.
We suspect this is causing heat to escape during the proving & baking phases.
It still makes great dough to be finished in the oven, but that's a faff tbh, so we have decided to treat ourselves to a new Panasonic machine for Christmas.
