At the DCPS school I work at I am helping with a school staff wellness initiative- the staff lounge beautification. Right now it is a depressing space and is barely used.
Before using anything like gofundme/donors choose all of us supporting the lounge makeover are hoping to find some items through our buy nothing groups. Looking for any of the following if you may have one you are looking to part with:
-Microwaves (in good working order)
-Plants (fake and if real--can survive in dark environments with minimal effort/watering)
-Keurig or Nespresso machines that are single use and in good shape (I am not handy enough to fix 🙂 although I wish I was)
