Christmas tree for repair or upcycling (Chapel Allerton LS7)

Lovely Half Christmas Tree, needs some DIY as some fittings have been lost. As you can see there is one female and one male fitting missing. Maybe a broom handle could be used instead, inside the trunk to assemble it.? OR use the branches to recycle into decorations. Tree Decorations not included.
