2 feet tall, 6 inches at its widest. Handsome black lamp, but no shade. We moved and don't have room for it. Finicky bulb connection. My guess is it needs a new socket. The info I found online suggests that this might be an easy fix ( at least for someone who is handy, which I'm not). It has a 3 way bulb in it right now that we will give away with the lamp. 16/25/32 watts
