Holds approximately 60 disks in their cases (15 per shelf) of standard DVD size. In good condition, made of some kind of wood on the outer, and the shelves are black metal. Solely moving it on as I've got rid of most of my physical disks recently! Nice little unit for someone who needs this kind of storage :-)
