Miele vacuum cleaner NOT working (Aigburth L17)

This stopped working recently. Possibly the motor. I've checked continuity and can't find a problem with the wiring but I'm not an electrician and it may be a simple fix. Will take to the tip if no interest. I'm away at end of week so maybe a delay in replying back.
