defective white tiles - crafter? AL1 (Fleetville AL1)

I have a box of maybe 20-30 of these medium size tiles
they are gloss finish white
each one has a fault across the bottom third - see pic, its like the glaze has been sanded off (ignore the big patch at the top of the pic, that is a shadow)
can anyoe use these either to cut shorter or for breaking to make mosiac etc or edging?
