If the sun ever shines again around here then you might fancy a sun umbrella to keep you shaded. It's 2.7m tall and designed to go through a hole in your outdoor table and into the base. Luckily part of the tube comes off (shown in front of the parasol in the photo) so it should fit into most cars. The material might have been greenish originally but is more of a grey now but it does the job and the mechanism works well.
