Mystery Objects & tyre pressure gauge (Kendal LA9)

The black cylinder with the green end is about 18 cm long & very heavy for its size. The green end has 'turn' directions & the other end must have had something else attached. The purple rings all fit around the smaller black cylinder - & that also was part of something - but probably not the same thing as green ended one. The metal 'pen' is made by Draper - and thank you freegler Jacqui - it is a tyre pressure gauge! The end that has the 'scale' on it goes back inside the pen when not in use. Any ideas for the cylinders? Any taker for the tyre pressure gauge?
