Modified Vintage School Desk (Avenue Road, E7)

Charming old formica-topped school desk collected from a church on Freecycle just over a year ago. Free to a good home. Modified by fitting wooden blocks to make adult desk height. The blocks at the bottom of the legs are secured only with wooden dowels, so are not strong. They would not survive, say, someone falling into the desk, but are fine for everyday use. I really liked using the desk and it's short depth meant it didn't take up too much room.
