Split half of a super kingsize mattress (Blackhall EH4)

I hope this is okay to post.If not please accept our apologies.We didn't want it to go to landfill.

We had to separate a double thick mattress to accommodate our mum urgently . It was an expensive super kingsize mattress .Unfortunately it was done in too much haste.
It still could be used, but a base would be needed.It will need some padding at the bottom of the springs. We have some foam type material which may do the job.but there is ample foam at the top side.It has been cleaned with a shampoo.cleaber.
If you are crafty with wood it may
be of use to someone maybe ?
I hope it is.We would need it taken as soon as.The springs are so flexible you can fold the whole piece down.
