CC41 Mid-Century three piece suite
This sofa and two armchairs were made by the British Government's utility furniture scheme in the 1940s or early 50s. The green fabric is faux leather cushion fabric is wool, I believe.
All items originally had the CC41 label underneath, but only one armchair still has the label. The wool fabric on the cushions is well worn. Otherwise the items are in pretty good condition. They're structurally sound and very sturdy. They have been thoroughly vacuumed and sprayed with Moth Stop.
We've used them as everyday furniture for the past 12 years.
The size of the items is a follows:
Two-seater sofa - width 130cm, depth 84cm, height 84cm
Armchairs - width 79cm, depth 84cm, height 84cm
