Solid wood kitchen worktop used / offcut / scrap (Hassocks BN6)

Hi, I need to make a plinth for a record deck I'm building and used/reclaimed (or even new offcuts) of 40mm thick solid oak or beech kitchen worktop would be great - I need about 1 metre in total or two lengths of about 500mm ... or more! I need solid wood rather than MDF or chipboard because I plan to route shapes into the plinth to accommodate the equipment. Thanks in advance, Will
