Free: 4-drawer filing cabinet VGC (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) 14d - This good-quality four-drawer filing cabinet needs a new home. It's in the car because I just rescued it from being scrapped. This means I can deliver it locally if need be (but soon, please!). No key; heavy enough to need two to carry it. Excellent appearance but a little surface rust on the base.

Free: Cassette tapes, some pre-recorded (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) 21d - Ten cassette tapes of varying length and make. Most are pre-recorded sound effects; all can be re-used and appear to be in excellent condition. I will ask you to phone me to arrange collection.

Free: Dyson DC44 Animal: faulty (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 23d - I have this Dyson DC44 Animal and a recent battery following a repair job for a friend. To the best of my knowledge, both the suction unit and the battery have faults: they run for just a second or two. You may be cleverer than me or might just want some spare parts.

Request: Windows XP computer (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Received 24d - If anyone has one of these dinosaurs kicking around, I'd be glad of it to finish a job using software that requires Windows XP. Only the system unit is needed. As it's a video editing task, it needs a reasonable amount of RAM (or slots for 2GB or more of DDR).

Request: One paving slab needed 24" x 24" (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) 57d - Can anyone let me have one ordinary grey paving slab, please? Wallingford area preferred. Free: Various magazines (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 69d - Roughly half a dozen copies each of Sight & Sound, Mojo, Film, Record Collector and Scream: one of Yachts and three of Shipping. Free: Knobbly motorbike tyres (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 77d - Four knobbly off-road motorbike tyres, probably two front and two rear; sizes as follows: - 80/100-21 120/90-18 90/90-21 120/100-18. These came to me as a kind of accident and I don't know their history: as far as I can see, they are in good order with lots of life in them.

Plenty of PCs are on sale but one with a proper tower case (and, ideally, Office installed) would suit my purposes better than many of the available offerings. The only essential is the system unit, as I have monitors and other ancillaries.

Free: PIR floods and bulkhead fittings (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 212d - Stored for years, so I cannot be sure that the motion sensors (where fitted) still work. The wired PIR certainly lights up. There is a lamp to fit the white floodlight. Bulkhead light fittings will be fine but need cleaning. Take any or all. Free: Adjustable shelf track & brackets (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 218d - One pair 36" track; one pair 24" track; 14 brackets roughly 8" deep. All aluminium; easy to fit but note that these are not designed for very heavy duty; fine e.g. a bedroom. Please expect to phone me to make collection arrangements; I will send the number.

Free: Motorcycle Xenon conversion kit (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 218d - To adapt a conventional halogen headlight to extra-bright Xenon. No longer needed, and taking up valuable space. Please expect to phone me to arrange pick-up: I will send the number.

Free: Transformers & mains adaptors (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 218d - More power supplies, wall warts and transformers than you can shake a stick at. Several from printers; others may include phone chargers but most have co-axial connectors. I'm not going to list them all: if you can tell me the rating you need or want to come and browse, I'll do my best to help. Ideal for obsessive tinkerers like me but I need the space.

Free: About 18 light bulbs: incandescent (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Expired 219d - The clear-out continues. Various styles but all bayonet cap fitting. Mostly previously used but these might be a useful stop-gap, or suit shed or garage. I will ask you to phone me to to fix up collection.

Free: Halfords cycle computer/speedometer (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 220d - Halfords 9-function WIREFREE cycle computer. Although packaging has been opened, I don't think this gadget was ever used. Works as speedometer (mph/kph), trip meter, etc. etc. and probably makes the tea when you stop to pant. I have tested it off the bike and everything appears to be present and working correctly. Batteries included. I'll ask you to phone to arrange collection. I don't bite.

Free: Bicycle panniers: pair plus one (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10) Gifted 220d - The pair of green panniers is in relatively lightweight nylon; a bit neglected but fully functional. Zip fasteners; Velcro pockets; straps to fix to rack. The single pannier is clip-on type with waterproof inner, drawstring, outside pocket. Also a bit neglected but sound. Take either or all.
