Free: flattened boxes (WLR near Breckenridge Village) Gifted - After the March tornado, a friend got us lots of flattened, heavy cardboard boxes for packing up our stuff for storage during reconstruction of our home. These are perfect sizes...not too big or little...easy to carry...heavy cardboard for holding liquor bottles. I have probably 60-70 at least that we no longer need. Please let me know how many you need. I can leave on my front porch for pickup. In the tornado recovery zone about a block from Breckenridge Village/Colony West shopping center. Free: Vtech cordless phone system (WLR near Breckenridge Village) Expired - Older cordless phone system. Handsets 1 and 2 charge and work. The third handset without the antenna WILL work but its battery will not charge but I tested it with another handset’s battery so you would need to purchase a new battery. This is vtech model 2651 so maybe you already have this system and could use another handset or two. If no one is interested in a day or so, I’ll take to electronics recycling.

Free: Uniden cordless phone set (WLR near Breckenridge Village) Expired - Old system that does work…tested at my house. Includes the manual, system base with digital answering system and three charging cradles but only three handsets…one is lost. One of three handsets has a battery that still seems to hold a charge but the other two do not. However, you can order two-three batteries (Uniden BT-1007 or BT-1015 is listed in manual but BT-1021 is what is in phone) for $10 or less from Amazon. I can leave on my front porch for easy pickup in “tornado alley” near Breckenridge Village.

Free: Wall calendars (WLR near Breckenridge Village) Gifted - Various organizations free wall calendars, mostly animal-themed from nature groups but also one “America” theme. Most are for the rest of 2023 but a couple are for next year. Intended to give away earlier but then the tornado happened. They are in a pink container on my porch at 1617 Tarrytown Road ( please don’t take container). I give these away every year and usually all are taken but it’s late in the year. I’ll leave out a couple of days and then recycle what’s left.

Free: Metal shed (WLR near Breckenridge Village) Gifted - Approximately 25-year-old metal shed from Sears. Has a few minor dings, mostly around bottom areas. Rusting is cosmetic...no structural issues or holes. The plywood flooring will need replacing. Assembly instructions are available. Is located in our backyard, which has a gate that is about 8 feet wide so someone with a trailer could load it in sections...mostly intact. With a new floor and some primer/paint, it would still provide protection for yard tools, bikes, etc. If you are interested, let me know how and when you could get it. This is not like picking up something from my porch in your car. Please give details of how you will pickup, whether you plan to disassemble it, if you’ll have help and how long you think it will take. There are a few things we need to remove so we’ll need to coordinate a period of time to be available.

Free: Forsythia plants (WLR near Breckenridge Village) Gifted - Six pots of forsythia offshoots that I cut off and dug up from a large bush in my yard a couple of days ago. They have some dirt covering the roots and can stay sitting in the pots outside until you have a chance to plant them before the spring. Now is the ideal time to get them planted and allow the roots to get established before the heat and dryness of the summer. They are sitting next to the driveway behind the reddish hedge close to the street. If they aren’t picked up by Tuesday, I’ll dump the plants in Wednesday’s yard waste. Pickup at 1617 Tarrytown Road, just off Breckenridge drive about a block north of Rodney Parham Road.
