Wood shavings - for pet bedding? (Old Ottawa East) Gifted 17d - WE have several bags of wood shavings from carpentry work (planer) These might be good for pet bedding or any other use you might have. Porch pick up fine.

Moving or storage boxes (larger) (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 141d - 7 or 8 boxes from delivery as well as some packing material - bubble wrap and paper. These have had a single use and strong clean. They are about 1.5 cubic foot size so not ideal for a lot of heavy stuff but great for textiles or kitchen appliances some dishes .... They are intact now but can be flattened easily for transport.

Washing Machine - working (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 175d - My neighbour is having a new washer dryer set delivered today and they think they want to give away the washer as it is still operating well. It will need to be picked up from the curb this week as not great to leave outdoors in cold/wet. It is an LG front loader looks to be regular size. anybody interested ? Please give me a reason or purpose so I can let them know and they can select a lucky recipient in case there are multiple takers.

Moving boxes -help yourself (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 227d - Rockcliffe Community Hall parking lot Buena Vista Road just south of Springfield. These are various sizes and were just emptied today with a lot of books. Mostly Home Depot boxes either 1 cu foot or 1.5 cu foot size. some smaller too. some are flattened for ease of transport and others are still square. They are located in the parking lot piled by the recycle bin and also near the small concrete structure. Ready to pick up and go - best before rain or garbage day Wednesday.

Tall wooden shelving unit (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 227d - Nice wood shelving unit - maple stained a bit dark. Stands about 6.5 feet high and 30 inches wide and there are removable shelves 5 or 6 with adjustable pegs to customize the unit. I just added some photos taken in storage unit hence the clutter. Pick up please I can assist to get the unit into a vehicle. It is tall enough it should be braced once in place. but if really keen I can arrange to drop off and borrow a vehicle.

Cedar framed window with casementss (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 229d - Perfect for a cabin or shed that you are planning. 3 paned window in cedar frame removed from a seasonal home fits opening 69 inches wide by 35 1/2 inches high with some wiggle room for insulation etc. The window has one fixed centre pane and 2 casements and all mounting hardware as well as screens for opening windows. the first picture shows it installed and the other two show it removed and all component parts. The original window had single panes of glass but was retrofitted to add additional panes that fit within frames. The casement windows have been removed for ease of moving as seen in picture 3 but everything goes back together and all mounting hardware + screens included. If interested I can get very precise measurements for each of the panes. the two casements could be installed in a frame you build and used separately for instance. The window(s) located in Val des Mont but can be transported to Ottawa for pick up or to a mutually convenient middle point. I will also have a similar two paned windows with single casement opening that measure 46 1/2 inches wide by 35 1/2 inches high. and 46 inches by 30 inches. If another size suits your needs. These are not ideal for winter use but they have been doing the job - ideal for 3 season use.

Large wingback chair (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 238d - This green upholstered chair is in pretty good shape except for one corner where apparently a cat chewed it. You can see in the photos. A smoke free home but there was a cat at some point clearly. Otherwise the cover is in great shape and not stained. There is a removable seat cushion. The chair is nice and high and it is wide. If you are under 5' 4" you will enjoy a cushion behind you so your feet hit the floor or curl up in it. The wings are very helpful if you doze off. Porch pick up can be arranged. It fits in a hatchback.

Crab Apples (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 266d - My fruit tree blew over loaded with fruit so lots for the picking and pick up. I have removed branches with fruit from the ground and so much easier to pick at waist height with no ladder. These are 1" and 2" fruit, not the little teeny ones, so possible to make something with them by way of preserves. If interested let me know and I can give you details where to pick up a load or pick up some branches to pick your own at home ! Bring your own continer/bag if possible.

Travel Guides - great shape (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 342d - I have a collection of used Travel Guides that are in great shape not 2022-23 version but from the last decade. Eye witness, Lonely Planet etc Various countries in Europe, Central and South America, Asia, and a few on Canada. I realize everything online now but a travel guide is handy to get things started and also to learn about a destination or country as a teaching tool. If interested and you want to come browse let me know I have organized by general geography for ease of browsing.

Car racing magazines 2008/2009 (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 358d - Assorted collection of F1 Racing, Car& Driver, Top Gear etc in great condition but not anything I am interested in. Thought somebody who is car mad or crafty or looking for things to cut out might have an interest in putting them to use. Happy to leave out for porch pick up - The stack is about 10 inches high so manageable number.

BBQ at the curb Marked (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 361d - For pick up only and BBQ is large enough with its stand you might need a truck or van. This at a neighbour s not my home. Drive by and have a look. 55 Westward Way. It was raining so I did not get a picture but if it is clearer Monday I can post one.

LED Christmas lights - not working (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 1y - Multi colour lights (blue, green, yellow, red) might be one set that is just blue and white. One set is the larger size bulbs the rest are the smaller size. Outdoor. The lights are at most a year old and the wires not chewed so might be a fuse issue ? If anyone is handy and wants to see if they can get them going - you are most welcome. Let me know I can give an address and fine with porch pick up.

Incontinence products (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 1y - I have a package of Tena ultimate overnight pull up underwear size S-P max absorbency . The package is open as I thought the size might be OK but it is not really as tight is not always best when getting these on. So if anyone can use these you are most welcome. It is possible I have another package unopened too. see photo in case that helps. Porch pick up or if you are nearby I could drop off.

PVC Pipe 1 1/4 " (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Expired 1y - Replaced waterline pipe at the cottage and I have 50 feet left still in decent condition as it was buried. Black pvc pipe a bit grungey looking, 1 1/4 inch diameter. When I ordered new waterline pipe it was delivered but 1 1/2 inch diameter so none of the extra fittings I had fit any longer. Currently the old pipe is at cottage in Val des Monts but if anyone interested in re purposing I can bring it into town. The pipe also works well to run an electric cable through and bury. If you need specifics let me know.

They need some TLC with paint and new cardboard at the back. The glass is all intact. Sizes vary from 8"x 10", 10"x 12" and 12" x 14 " I am sure there is some creative use they could fulfill. There is one large frame that has a matte and backing - 24" x 28" thereabouts. If any interest I am happy to share pictures, address to pick up and exact measurement to be sure. Thre is also one frame that opens up with hinges to 2 side by side frames.

Upright vacuum - Dirt Devil Endura (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 1y - The vacuum cleaner is a bagless model and can be used as upright but also has capacity to use it with the wand attachment also included. It works but the wheel keep falling off so the main vacuum operator in the household has given it up. I rescued the wheels and I think they could be installed again with a bit of duct tape or glue fix. There is a spare filter, spare belt the rubber bit that turns the rotor. It has decent capacity to not have to empty the canister all the time. Prefer pick up from me if you are in need and centre town or eastern side of the city I can drop off. Please let me know when you could pick up.

lots of books left out (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 1y - A number of folks have left books near the recycle bins in parking lot behind 380 Springfield Road. bring your bags and boxes if you are interested in scrounging. Not the best condition but not trash either if you love a good read.

Used once moving boxes (Manor Park - Rockcliffe Park) Gifted 1y - I have 5 or 6 moving boxes 2 cu ft size currently flattened if anyone needs some. Sorry no packing paper that was not part of the gift to me. If weather is fine I can leave outside for pick up on Saturday or Sunday.
