Camcorder/player for playing mini-dv or video-8 cassettes (Kennington OX1)
Withdrawn

- I have both video8 and mini-DV cassettes and nothing to play them on, so I'm looking for camcorders to play either format. I just want to check if there's anything on them, I may not need it for long, then it's probably going to go back on here for someone else. Of course, it only needs to play them the recording function can be broken. Thanks!

- I only have three. They don't look it, but they are functional (not rusted through). I won't keep these long, they're on the way to Redbridge but posting just in case!

Parallax propeller chip with DIY 'eval' board (Kennington OX1)

- Strip boarded parallax propeller chip, with inputs for keyboard and mouse, and SVGA output. The propeller would be worth taking if nothing else, but I'm giving it away together because it runs (ran?) one of the standard demo firmwares. At the time the eval board was just under £100 and too pricey for me so I went the DIY route.

PC-mounted card reader (Kennington OX1)

- Fits in 5 1/4 bay, also connects to the motherboard gives extra USB ports and various card reader connections. Needs a 4-pin molex connector (not shown) for extra power for the USB ports, I think the thing works without it though if you only want the card reader functionality.

Camping stove (Kennington OX1)

- Basic camping stove, the canister is there for illustration, it's almost empty so you don't have to take it (but can if you want). The top part comes off so it collapses down smaller. The ignition button can stick in a little so you have to pull it out sometimes, but it reliably makes a spark. I don't use this now as I have an all-in-one system.

16x 5v Power supply with 3.5mm Jack connector, 1.8m lead (Kennington OX1)

- These are brand new PSUs from the factory, 5v, 1200mA however they have a fault due to the screws being over-tightened, so can't be sold. I've shown one example (one of the really bad ones), in some cases it's just the one screw. The back can get pulled off and then mains voltage is exposed. I've tested all of them and they deliver 5v so electrically sound. Someone might want them for the 1.8m cable with a jack connector, or the PSU inside, or it may be possible to use the insides in DIY projects. Use at your own risk, of course. If nobody wants then I'll take them to the recycling.

- Old, Xbox 360 era graphics, probably better than on-board graphics even now, but not going to be great for gaming over 720p. The title is what lspci reports. I've plugged it in to a desktop yesterday and it gives a display, including graphics, but no idea about 3d performance/functionality.

Cello 1973F TV/DVD combo (Kennington OX1)

- Cello 1973F TV/DVD combo. It is missing the stand, because I've had it mounted on a desk arm. It's also missing the remote, and the figure-of-eight power lead (I need that for another device I'm afraid). See: PLEASE NOTE: The picture on this TV is not all that great, it seems to lack contrast. I don't recommend using it for watching films or anything. I don't know if it just lacked contrast when new (early LCDs weren't that great), or it's degraded, or it's developed a fault. If nobody wants it I'm going to take some components out of it and put it in recycling. The main plus-point of this TV is that it has practically every video input known to man: SCART, composite phono, s-video, SVGA, HDMI, RF, PCMCIA (for the decoder card I think), and of course the vertical DVD-player. I've been using this as a monitor for viewing composite video for VHS cassette transfers, but I no longer have any use for it as they're all done! It's ideal for someone who tinkers, not so great for someone just wanting a normal TV. thanks!
