A valance is designed to fit over a divan base, underneath the mattress, with a gathered “skirt” on 3 sides which hangs down to cover the divan base. Please see photo. Free: Cross stitch books/kits/threads, embroidery/tapestry frames (Chalkhouse Green RG4) Gifted 48d - For the keen cross-stitcher, please see the 4 pictures. 2 A4 books of patterns/charts Several free mini kits from a cross-stitch magazine. Some of these have not been used; others have charts but no aida fabric; several are Christmas themed - so plenty of time to make them for cards or tree decorations ;-) A bag of stranded cotton threads in many colours. One stretcher type embroidery frame 35.5 x 40.5 cm (14 x 16 inches). This has a piece of Aida ready fitted, with part of a cross stitch design stitched- I expect the chart is in one of the books, or the threads can be unpicked or cut out. 3 embroidery/tapestry frames of the type shown in the picture, where the fabric is tacked on to the two rollers and a longer embroidery/ tapestry can be rolled as it’s completed. One small, two large. 30cm (12 3/4 inches) 61 cm (24” inches) 68cm (26 3/4 inches) The largest one still has a completed tapestry on it with a floral pattern, suitable for mounting into a frame as a picture, or making into a cushion. This open tray has been variously used for jewellery on a dressing-table, and for pens, pencils, stamps, paper clips etc on a desk. Size is 23cm wide x 15cm long. Free: Spare transformers, transmitters for cordless headphones (Chalkhouse Green RG4) Expired 127d - 2 transformers, 2 transmitters, a couple of cables. These were in a box that once held Phillips cordless stereo headphones SBC HC8300. Note we DO NOT HAVE THE HEADPHONES. Free: Amplifon hearing aid batteries (Chalkhouse Green RG4) Gifted 187d - 14 packets of 6 batteries, labelled 10 Zas. Stockpiled in the past, so best before date for them all is 1.21 I haven’t opened any packets to see if they still work, but if anyone uses them it would be worth a try.
