Free: Pretty Paper Tablecloths (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 3d - A pack of 4 paper tablecloths, possibly of a vintage, 90cms by 90cms. Unused.

Free: Bars of Soap (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 9d - 6 bars of soap, partly used. Some were quite expensive. Nothing wrong with them; they just don’t suit me. Could be used for washing hands, or for gardening or crafts or in the garage, etc.

Free: Tablecloth and two matching napkins (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 21d - This tablecloth and napkins came from my mother’s effects when clearing her stuff. I think it might be vintage, but no idea. The tablecloth is 67” x 50” (approx. 170cm x 127cm). I have no idea what it is made from as there is no label, but it is slippery and shiny. The material could be used to make cushion covers, or even a blouse! It is very pretty. The photo doesn’t do it justice. IMPORTANT - . Please tell me why you’d like it.

Free: Vintage paper tablecloths (Pokesdown BH5) Withdrawn 21d - A pack of 4 vintage paper tablecloths, 90cms by 90cms. Unused. Free: Recycled String for parcels (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 30d - I have 33 pieces of recycled string, in lengths ranging from 30” to 40” ( 75-100cm) approx. The photo shows one piece, to illustrate. It is strong, and hardwearing. Ideal for wrapping presents, and can be re-used! (Could be used for other purposes, too! I have used some in the garden, for tying up plants, and for hanging bird feeders).

Free: Purple hair dye (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 37d - Schwarzkopf ‘LIVE’ Ultrabrights semi-permanent hair dye. Shade: Purple Punk 094 I’ve had it a couple of years, but never used it. (There’s no use-by date, unless it’s been opened, which it hasn’t. Contains tube of colour, 2 sachets of conditioner, plastic gloves, and instruction leaflet.

Free: Bruised Violet hair colour (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 37d - ‘Bleach’ (the brand) hair colour - ‘Bruised Violet’ shade, 150 ml bottle. Vegan, cruelty free, uses recycled plastic for the bottle. Apply (with gloves), to damp, shampooed hair, comb through, leave 30 minutes and then wash out. Unused bottle. (I’ve had it a while, but not used it. There is no use-by date, unless it’s been opened, which it hasn’t).

Free: Bottle of perfume (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 43d - Al Arabia Lattafa “Royal Blends” ladies’ perfume. 100 ml* Eau de Parfum spray. * I have used a few sprays of it, to test, but almost all is still in the bottle. The seal is broken, as I tried a bit, and there’s no box. I have become funny with perfumes over the last few years. I thought I’d try this, as it was supposed to be like one I used to wear, and it wasn’t expensive, but I can’t get on with it. It was bought online from Lauren Jay Paris. Free: Bottle of Miltons Sterilising Fluid (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 45d - A 500 ml bottle of Miltons Sterilising Fluid. PLEASE NOTE: It is out of date - Jan 2024 - so not recommended for baby bottles or human food utensils. It is probably ok for other uses, though. Gardening, for example? Please tell me why you’d like it.

Free: RADIO TIMES - Easter Edition (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 48d - I have a spare Radio Times, covering Saturday, 30th March to Friday, 5th April, inclusive. It has all the TV and radio stations, terrestrial, satellite, cable, streaming, etc., for each day of the week. Free: Tablecloth with matching napkins (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 49d - Circular tablecloth with scalloped edges. White with green spots and edging, and 6 green napkins. 58” diameter. Material unknown; it feels quite stiff. Possibly Portuguese. (Found when clearing out mother’s house). Never used; I opened the plastic pack only to measure its diameter, as there was no indication on the pack.

Free: 5 Miniature Glass Bottles (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 67d - Five miniature, clear glass bottles with gold caps. 3.5 cms diameter at the base 10 cms high. They used to contain whisky. They have been washed, but the labels haven’t been removed yet.

Free: Pack of 5 Low-Rise Garter Strings (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 131d - A completely unused, unopened pack of 5 low-rise garter string panties. M&S, cotton lycra, 3 x beige, 1 x white, 1 x black. Size 16. I’ve had these a few years, but never used them. Seems daft to keep them and have them taking up space in my clothes drawers!

Free: Two tins of Pease Pudding (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 142d - Two tins of Foresight Pease Pudding, each tin is 220g. Bought from Waitrose. I’ve been sorting through my stock cupboard, and these are surplus to requirements. BBE January 2024. (I have too many to eat before then!) They have been kept in a cool cupboard the whole time.

Free: Miniature glass bottles (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 150d - Seven miniature, clear glass bottles. (Used to contain whisky). Three have had the labels soaked off; the other four still have labels on them, so need to be soaked off. Might be useful for someone who makes their own liqueurs?

Free: Pack of Covid test kits (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 160d - An unopened and sealed pack of seven Covid test kits, (seven tests). They have been kept in a cool, dry place. (They will expire 10/1/24, and I won’t be able to use them by then). Free: Pretty Bottle (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 163d - A pretty bottle, 8.5 inches high, with a cork stopper. Clear glass, with a white and beige floral swirl design. It originally contained sloe gin, and has been well washed! It could be used for homemade liqueurs, to give as a gift, or to put lights inside as a Christmas decoration.

Free: Furniture/Floor cover for DIY (Pokesdown BH5) Expired 166d - For covering furniture or floor during DIY, or for other DIY things: - One double-bed-sized piece of quilted material. (Was a mattress protector in a former life).(polyester).

Free: Two clear glass demijohns (Pokesdown BH5) Expired 166d - Two clear glass demijohns to give away. They can be used to make wine/beer etc., or can be used to display marbles, pretty stones, etc., or used as vases for tall, single-stemmed flowers, real or artificial. (Please note: they have been in the garden for a few years, and so are very grubby and need a good clean, which I can’t do myself due to painful wrists). Free: Four bottles of nail varnish (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 166d - Four small bottles of nail varnish. Note, they have been partly used, but not much, and are a few years old, but might do for a pre-teen or young teen to mess about with, or maybe even for theatrical use. 2 bottles of Colour Show 60 Seconds, Electric Yellow 1 bottle of Rimmel 60 Seconds Colour Show, Hot Tropicana 1 bottle of Rimmel 60 Seconds Colour Show, Rose Libertine

Free: A Purple Glass Bottle (Pokesdown BH5) Expired 171d - A rather nice purple glass bottle. 9.5 inches high, with stopper. 70cl capacity. It originally contained gin, but has been well washed! It could be used to put pretty lights inside as a Christmas decoration. The label around the bottom is paper, and could be soaked off. However, the upper logo and name is embedded on the glass in white and cannot be removed. It is a lovely purple colour, and would look great on a window-sill in daytime, and with fairy lights inside it at night.

Free: A Litre of Milton’s Sterilising Fluid (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 188d - One litre of Milton’s sterilising fluid. Use by end January 2024.

Free: Box of about 1000 C6 envelopes (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 190d - I have a box of around 1000 x C6 size envelopes, with gummed flaps, the sort you lick. 114x162cm each envelope. (You fold an A4 sheet twice to fit it in). White. They are several years old, but the gum still seems to stick. They were left over when I retired from my business. Free: Box of seven Covid-19 tests (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 192d - I have an unopened box of Covid tests, (7 tests in the box), and am giving them away because their use-by date is 22/12/23, and I won’t be able to use them before that date, so I don’t want them wasted. The box was one of those issued by the NHS, has been kept in a cool place. Free: Lengths of recycled string (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 192d - I have a number of lengths of soft, recycled string. These come with my weekly veg boxes, and are used to tie up those boxes. They have already been recycled, so each length has a knot in it. However, they are still extremely useful to use for any string use, in house or garden. Because the string is soft, I have also, in the past, used them as bedding material for small pets, or cut up into small pieces and put out for birds to use in nests. The photo just shows a small number, to illustrate. Each length is between 20” and 40”, and can be tied together to make longer lengths. At the moment, there are 40 lengths to give away, but as I get 4 to 6 lengths a week, I could save them up, if anyone wants more.

Free: Set of six liqueur/spirit glasses (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 212d - Six liqueur or spirit glasses, with a white floral design. 2.5 inches/60cms high. Although only four in the picture, there are actually six. (NB. I have no idea if they are dishwasher-proof or not). (Fair Offer policy applies - please tell me why you’d like them).

Free: Purple Microfibre Towels - for pets or DIY (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 230d - Four old microfibre towels, (polyester 80%, polyamide 20%), originally from Mountain Warehouse. Purple. 3 are 52” x 27”(bath towel size?) 1 is 60” x 32” (bath sheet size?) They are very old, but would be good for dogs, either bathing, drying off after walks, or for bedding. Could also be good for DIY purposes….mopping up spills, wrapping messy tools in, etc. They are far less bulky than cotton towels, so would be good for keeping in the car boot, for mucky wellies or similar!

Free: Seasonal Cookbook. (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 236d - “How To Eat Brilliantly Every Day”, by Abel and Cole (organic vegetable/meat people). 270 pages. Easy recipes arranged in seasonal sections, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, to make the most of seasonal veg, etc. Both meat and vegetable recipes. Photos show some pages of the Index, to give you an idea of the content. Perfect condition - it was a present, but I don’t cook much these days! Fair Offer policy - please tell me why you’d like it.

Free: Pair of ladies’ shoes, size 6 (Pokesdown BH5) Gifted 236d - Bought recently from Hotter, espadrille style, white and beige stripes, size 6. Hardly worn, and only ever worn indoors.
