Free: Honeysuckle plant. (Hayle TR27) Withdrawn 8d - This is quite a mature plant but the poor thing has been tortured by living in a trough! It urgently needs to go in the ground. All of a sudden, I can’t upload a picture, despite having just done one with the same phone five minutes ago for a different post. Free: Windscreen phone holder (Hayle TR27) Gifted 11d - N. B. I am only getting rid of this because I’ve got a new car with sat nav! This is a very effective holder for a phone, so that you can legally use it while driving. It fits onto the windscreen with a suction pad. I only had to attach it once, it never fell off and it easily adjusts to the size of your phone. Charging port with 2 usb sockets included, just use your own cord.

Free: Large pieces of cardboard. (Hayle TR27) Withdrawn 15d - Could someone use these for garden/allotment weed suppression? Would be grateful for quick reply as the cardboard is taking up a lot of room under the stairs!

Free: 8 or 9 Log sacks (Hayle TR27) Withdrawn 27d - They have been used for storing plants so a bit grubby but strong and usable Request: About 4 metres hosepipe (Hayle TR27) Received 28d - Does anyone have a few metres of hosepipe spare please? My hose doesn’t quite reach the end of the garden! Free: Small axe (Hayle TR27) Gifted 32d - This was given to me for log chopping years ago but I’m scared of axes so I’ve never even taken the guard off it! It’s been in the shed for years so some superficial rust but as far as I know the blade is fine. Adult only to collect.

Free: Square plastic pot, with Erigiron growing in it (Hayle TR27) Gifted 45d - The pot is not beautiful but might be useful for growing veg. If you like Erigeron, also known as fleabane, but haven’t got any this will self seed freely. It sells for silly money at the garden centre!

Free: Albertine climbing rose (Hayle TR27) Gifted 53d - This is a beautiful rose which I have had for some years in a pot. It now really needs to go in the ground, against a wall or strong trellis. It looks lovely against an old wall and will grow vigorously. But it is thorny! It will need two people to collect, bringing a wheelbarrow or sack carrier to transport it. I can wrap the branches in some horticultural fleece to help protect from the thorns. I’m sad to see it go & really hope that someone would like it!

Free: Solid wooden trough (Hayle TR27) Gifted 53d - Very sturdy. Loppers for scale. There will be two more of similar size once they’ve been emptied out.

Free: Compost bin (Hayle TR27) Gifted 70d - As shown - in good condition. Need gone asap so would be grateful for early collection

Free: Two teddies (Hayle TR27) Withdrawn 74d - Two nice teddies need rehoming. Must go together as they are a bonded pair!

Free: RHS garden magazines (Hayle TR27) Gifted 83d - Most of 2021. 2022& 2023 are complete. Attractive and useful magazine for keen gardeners-lots of information. I can split if you don’t want to take them all.

Free: Metal plant trough (Hayle TR27) Gifted 104d - With or without strawberry plants! I will tidy them up before collection.

Free: Four velvet cushions. (Hayle TR27) Gifted 117d - As shown: 2 pink, 1 grey, 1 beige. All v good condition, smoke free home.

Free: Venetian and Roman blinds (Hayle TR27) Expired 159d - 2 pale green Venetian blinds 86cm wide x 112cm drop 115cm wide x 98cm drop. Both good quality, need some cleaning I dark blue Roman blind 55cm wide x 98 drop I yellow & grey spotted Roman blind 54cm wide x 98 drop Both Roman blinds have been up for a while & need some cleaning/new fabric but for someone who likes making things the framework ( don’t know what to call it) is good quality & sturdy. Seems wrong to chuck these in a skip so I hope they’ll be of use to someone.

Free: Mixed CDs (Hayle TR27) Expired 194d - A total mix - everything from Doris Day to Bob Marley to Lily Allen to Stevie Wonder to Emma Kirkby to Bach, Mozart & Vaughan Williams.

Free: Board games for young children (Hayle TR27) Expired 204d - Colourful games for children age 3 & upwards, all by Orchard Toys. The lunchbox game is a bit battered but all the pieces are there & I have downloaded & printed the instructions. Spelling game is complete. Instructions missing from counting game & it’s not listed on Orchard Toys, but I don’t imagine it would be difficult to work out how to play it as it says it’s suitable for three year olds!

Free: Hitachi CD & radio sound system with remote control (Hayle TR27) Gifted 204d - I haven’t used this for a while but it was working fine the last time I did! Remote control probably needs a new battery.

Free: DVDs & player (Hayle TR27) Gifted 204d - Player connects to laptop or home computer by USB. Selection of films, some for children ( Beauty & the Beast, Matilda, 101 Dalmatians ) Complete set of BBC Jane Austen adaptations. All vgc.

Free: Chromino game (Hayle TR27) Expired 204d - Pristine condition. Family game suitable for age 6 upwards but also good for adults. Instructions in box are in French but easy enough to work out - or English instructions very easy to find on internet.

Free: Two large plastic pots, one with plant (Hayle TR27) Gifted 213d - These are about 18” diameter. One is empty, the other has a perennial lobelia planted which flowered very well during the summer. It’s a rich red but I’ve lost the label so don’t have the name. The pot with soil in is quite heavy but I can borrow a sack carrier for you to transport it to your vehicle. Easy access from my gate. As plastic pots go they’re not too ugly!

Free: Bi coloured Hebe in large pot (Hayle TR27) Gifted 232d - Pink/ purple Hebe plant in large dark green plastic pot. Will need something like a sack carrier to remove - unless you are very strong!

Free: Three thermos flasks (Hayle TR27) Expired 288d - 2 with traditional glass linings, the other is stainless steel. They have been stored for a while in a cupboard but without caps on, and all rinsed with boiling water.

Free: Vileda squeezy mop (Hayle TR27) Gifted 292d - As shown. Virtually new mop head, used once.

Free: Pair of lightweight waterproof gaiters (Hayle TR27) Gifted 348d - To keep the mud off your trousers! Zip fastener with Velcro cover, straps and a clip to fix onto boots.

Free: Pair of Neoprene knee supports (Hayle TR27) Expired 348d - Good condition, universal size with Velcro straps adjustable to fit. The supports have flexible metal supports on either side of the knee, these can be adjusted for most comfort and support, or removed altogether.

Free: Seed trays & flowerpots (Hayle TR27) Expired 359d - Set of 18 pots in tray for growing on seedlings and seven seed trays, some perforated.

Free: Ladies Seasalt waterproof jacket (Hayle TR27) Gifted 362d - This is a lightweight mid blue jacket, with hood, size 14, that is virtually unworn but has been badly stored so it has several white marks on the front. Fine for dog walking/sailing/gardening. Once again I cannot add a photo, I don’t know what the problem is today, so you’ll have to trust me that this item is perfectly clean and useable, just doesn’t look very smart because of the white marks. Edit - photo now successfully added!

Free: Tulip bulbs (Hayle TR27) Gifted 1y - I have a lot of tulip bulbs which flowered in the spring and have been allowed to die back naturally. I don’t have the room to store them - there are more than in the picture! Pictures show some of them in flower.
