Request: Garden tools for Education Project (New Greens AL3) Expired 210d - Good afternoon. Two friends are traveling to The Gambia to assist with a School Project.... a Market Garden to help the children eat more nutritionally and to raise much needed funds for school equipment. They are asking for any garden tools, especially hand tools. They need spades, netting, plastic fencing or chicken wire. Height restricted so forks etc just over 3'. Apologies for being so specific, but they don't want to waste anything offered. The items are being shipped on 14 September. If you are able to assist in the St Albans/Harpenden areas, that will be just great. They will be sending pictures as the Project develops,so do let me have your details if you'd like updates. A coat of paint will be good but not absolutely necessary. The screws in the chairs need tightening. Collection this Sunday, time to be confirmed. Free: Plants to over winter (New Greens AL3) Expired 1y - Leaf of Life Spanish Thyme Sweet peppers Clearing my greenhouse for winter. The peppers are still small and will be happy in a conservatory or any window in a warm room. Collection by Thursday lunchtime please. Free: TV Cabinet-cum-Bookshelf? (New Greens AL3) Expired 1y - This was a lovely unit but on moving it, one of the safety glass doors smashed. Still very usable. Has self made "cut aways" at the back for cables. Used first shelf for sky box in one and DVD Player in the other. Please see pictures. The glass top lifts off so will need to be protected. Needs to be collected ASAP.
