I think some of the springs may have gone, but I have padded it out under the cushion with pillows and find it very comfortable. You may wish to give it a clean. It’s very large and heavy. We’ve just moved into a flat which has laminate flooring and our dog is terrified of walking over the floor. We’d love a couple of carpet offcuts or large rug so that she can walk around the flat.
