Native PNW Plants (West Slope) Expired 1y - Hello! I am part of a small group who has volunteered to turn the small space in these photos into what I hope will be a garden filled with native plants supporting our local wildlife/ecosystem (my backyard habitat-in-progress at home has really inspired me!) THE ASKS We are seeking your offerings of any of the following: -general design ideas/recommended natives -native plant starts, larger plants, & seeds for this Fall and Spring -anything else to help with garden maintenance/upkeep Will come to you! Happy to carefully dig up any plants as needed. ABOUT THE PROJECT: This garden will serve as a stress-reducing, healing communal respite for family medicine faculty and residents (physicians who are currently training in the specialty of family medicine) as they continue to work long hours on the front lines in the hospital and beyond. They frequently visit this space during the work day. We will start work this Fall. Located in SW Portland, Multnomah Co. THE SPACE: So much potential! Most of the space is partial sun with a few predominantly sunny and shady spots mixed in. The only natives on site so far are a few sizeable snowberry bushes in the shady area as well as a few sword ferns and a small thimbleberry. Thank you so much!
