Free: 700Cx23 tyres (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - 5 tyres with some wear but still usable. I don’t need them now as I have gone tubeless. Includes 2 Hutchinson Fusion and some Onza brand. Please note: these are very lightweight and narrow tyres suitable for lightweight road bike. Anyone taking these needs to take responsibility for checking their suitability and condition for their purposes. Request: Working slide projector (Leasgill LA7) Received - We have a lot of old slides from back in the last century, but no working projector. It doesn't need to be fancy carousel with remote control. If you have one you no longer need mouldering away in the attic we'd love to give it a good home. Request: Zimmer. Toilet surround to aid sitting and rising. (Leasgill LA7) Expired - My wife is recovering from hip surgery. I’ve already tried to acquire a 3 wheel “shopper” without success, but could also use a zimmer frame and one of those toilet surrounds with arms to aid standing and sitting. The accident happened in Somerset so the kit Bath hospital provided has to go back there when we leave to go back home in Leasgill, hopefully tomorrow. Request: Three wheeled shopping trolley for disabled person (Leasgill LA7) Expired - My wife is recovering from a broken femur and needs one of those little “walkers” with handlebars and brakes that injured or disabled people can use when they need support for walking. At present she’s using a zimmer frame, but expects to graduate soon to something a bit faster and more like real walking. I can collect. Free: Garden plants (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - Two herbaceous perennials surplus to requirements. Both are vigorous growers and great if you have a big space to fill. Click these links for pictures. / This is a 60 cm tall by 60 cm spread spring to early summer flowering plant. Gets a bit unruly after flowering but not hard to control. Very hardy. This is a very vigorous 100cm tall plant with an unlimited spread over time. Spreads by rhizomes and makes a big clump quite quickly. Summer flowering. Very hardy. Some authorities suggest it doesn't like being moved, but I moved it once and it is already showing shoots from the roots. If several interested I can divide. Free: Coal bunker (Leasgill LA7) Expired - Galvanised bunker, though it has rusted through a bit on the underneath. Has door at the bottom. Other uses? Composter? Garden storage? Dimensions: 32" wide, 23" front to back, 36" high Free: Garden pots & mini greenhouses (Leasgill LA7) Expired - For my sins I find myself disposing of stuff from the garden of an empty house (legally!). Free: Brachyglottis shrub (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - This is a Brachyglottis 'Sunshine' (See ) It is a very vigorous shrub which became too big for my garden. I've cut it back and dug it out with a large heavy root ball. It just became too big a bully and grew over and killed off some attractive ground cover which I wanted to keep. The leaves are a lovely sage green, soft and furry. Abundant yellow daisy type flowers over a long period. Needs quite a lot of space which I don't have. Also, if you want it you'll need to bring a fairly large cardboard or plastic box to carry it.

Free: Seed potatoes (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - I have 2.5kg each of Maris Bard (1st early) and Maris Peer (2nd early), which I ordered in error. It's a lot - you'd need a big garden or an allotment to use all these. I can split them, and split each variety. There must be a couple of dozen of each, at least. If interested in any or all let me know. Request: Sturdy bits of angle iron (Leasgill LA7) Received - My knee-high vegetable raised beds are bellying out alarmingly along the sides. This is a result of economising on the thickness of the wooden planks and the tanalised 2x2 posts used for the verticals beginning to rot. I fancy trying bits of heavy duty angle or square/rectangular section to hold the raised beds together a bit more effectively. Would need to be a metre long to be any use. I could easily use a dozen or more, he added hopefully. Free: 5 in number 700Cx23 tyres and 3 inner tubes (Leasgill LA7) Expired - As we have gone over to tubeless tyres on our road bikes, these are redundant. The tyres are nowhere near worn out and have no obvious damage. The tubes are unused. The tyres are Hutchinson Fusion (3) and Onza Lavin (2). Not very suitable for winter use, though! Free: Rock climbing shoes (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - Two pairs of rock shoes. The blue ones are Boreal Fusion S-2 almost new condition, size 8 UK, 42 EU, possibly worn only once or twice. The other pair is 5.10 Newton, size 12. Slightly worn but still lots of life left and vgc and clean inside. This is NOT the current Newton model.

Free: Garden plants (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - A few things surplus to needs after thinning out the herbaceous border. Available from middle of next week. Several bits of each. Phlomis russeliana (Jerusalem Sage) Yellow flowers Physostegia virginiana 'Vivid' (Obedient Plant) Pink flowers Aster (bog standard Michaelmas Daisy) Blue flowers Free: Wheelbarrow (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - Classic brickie's barrow - black, heavy, pneumatic tyre, customary holes in the bottom of the pan. Usable with car, maybe an old fertiliser bag to cover the holes. I believe you can buy a new pan to fit yourself off the internet. Free: A selection of Grangers Clothing care products (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - The following items have come into my possession (quite legally) but I have no use for them. They are the sort of thing for treating the fabric of high performance outdoor clothing such as Goretex and down jackets. All are unopened. For more info search the internet for Grangers followed by a name from the list below. Footwear Care Kit Clothing Repel Performance Wash Wash + Repel Active Wash Repel Plus Down Care Kit Free: Very tall garden plants (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - Have been thinning out some of my large perennial garden plants. Both are up to 2.5 metres high and vigorous growers. Google the names for pictures and further details. 1. Eupatorium maculatum 'Riesenschirm' (Joe-Pye Weed) 'Riesenschirm' is a tall cultivar, to 2.5m in height, with large heads of wine red flowers in late summer and autumn, dark stems and deep green foliage. A very impressive plant which is extremely attractive to bees and butterflies. 2. Cephalaria gigantea (giant yellow scabious) A perennial forming a clump of pinnately lobed basal leaves, with tall, branched stems carrying light yellow flower-heads to 6cm across in summer Free: Inula magnifica (Leasgill LA7) Expired - Inula magnifica (find images on google). If you would like this aptly named plant in your garden, I have just thinned mine out and have a bucket load of tubers which just need planting. BEWARE! This is a very tall (2 metres) plant which grows and spreads very strongly. Not really good for a small garden. Needs thinning out every few years to control it. Blooms very freely with large yellow daisy form flowers. Free: Shower riser kit (Leasgill LA7) Expired - This does NOT include shower mixer. When I needed a new mixer the one I wanted only came with a riser kit, which I don't need. This item is in all its original packaging and consists of shower head, riser rail with clamp and standard flexible hose. Screws and wall plugs included. Free: Hot bin composter (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - This item is in my opinion only really suitable for someone with a smallish garden without massive amounts of material to handle. I have decided not to use it any more because I am still having to use traditional compost heap as the composter won't cope with what I have to compost. Before deciding if you might be interested I suggest you spend some time perusing this on-line User Manual to see whether it is really what you want.

Free: Bags of cement (Leasgill LA7) Gifted - Three and a half bags of cement. May consider splitting, but preference to anyone wanting the lot.
