- I am making patchwork quilts to give to a charity. I have run out of batting. I am happy to buy more wadding/batting but if anyone has any that you no longer need I would appreciate it. It is the flat wadding that is sandwiched between the patchwork quilt top and the backing.I thought these quilts and some blankets I have knitted would help some children to snuggle up and feel a bit warmer.
