Christine Offer: waffle-weave shower curtain (near GA Ave Metro) - Pottery Barn off-white waffle-weave shower curtains. Two available. I got these from another Freecycler, but never ended up using them. Full disclosure: Both shower curtains have minor flaws. They each have one or two small areas (like the size of the top of a pencil -- maybe half a centimeter square? one waffle-square's worth) of what appears to be melted white plastic. One shower curtain has some degree of discoloration along a vertical edge. The other one has some slightly discolored areas near the bottom. I treated the stained areas on both shower curtains with Spray and Wash and air-dried them... but they could use further Spray & Wash treatment and further air-drying. I decided to just stick with my existing shower curtain instead. Let me know if you want one shower curtain or both. Offer: (now w/link for photos) OFFER: creeping phlox plants (near GA Ave Metro) - Re-sending with the all-important link to the Craigslist free-section ad where I posted two photos: ----- Forwarded Message -----Sent: Sunday, June 2, 2019, 11:07:39 PM EDTSubject: OFFER: creeping phlox plants (near GA Ave Metro) Offering four creeping phlox plants, variety "Amazing Grace" (white flowers with maroon-ish spots at the center, for an overall pinkish-white look). I'm usually pretty good with plants, but I've been having a hard time with these. I think they've been getting more sun than they like. I am offering them here in case someone wants to try nursing them back to better health. Photo #1 shows them in bloom and with lush foliage. Photo #2 shows them about a week ago, looking kind of meh and partially dried out. (I've always given them lots of water, but my guess is that all the direct sunlight was too much for them.) I dug these up about a week ago, so they really ought to be replanted ASAP. Specs (from the Home Depot info card) - sun - low height - size: 4-6" t x 18-24" w - space 18-24" - habit: mounded - water: weekly during dry spells; more often until roots established - hardiness: -40 F (-40 C) Easy pickup.near the Georgia Ave.-Petworth Metro. Offer: 16" hubcap (near GA Ave. Metro) - I found this stray hubcap and was hoping to use it to replace a missing one on my car (a Corolla), but either it wasn't a compatible fit or I didn't do it properly. Offer: wall-mounted hinged light fixture (near GA Ave. Metro) Gifted - I got this a week or so ago as part of a Craigslist "must take all" assortment of items, but I don't need it. Photos: tested it and it works. It's connected to a regular power cord that you can plug into a regular wall outlet... but from the way it's hooked up at the back (see photo #3), it looks like maybe you could connect it directly to an electrical source if you wanted to. The switch appears to be a 3-position switch -- the kind you can use to have two different brightness levels with a 3-way bulb. Easy pickup less than one block from the Georgia Ave.-Petworth Metro. Offer: two gold-ish beaded holders for tealights (near GA Ave Metro) - Reoffering, this time with photos. Got these from another Freecycler, but never ended up using them. Each tealight holder is cylindrical in shape -- 3.5" tall and about 3.25" in diameter. The color of the beads is sort of a gold color, but it's not really sparkly.. It might also be described as yellowish-ochre. Photos: porch pickup in northern Park View, less than a block from the Georgia Ave.-Petworth Metro station. Offer: Sony clock radio (near GA Ave Metro) - I got this from another Freecycler a few years ago, but haven't used it enough to justify keeping it. It's a Sony, model ICF-CD803. Photo: Labeled as Advance model 4069 / 4081. Easy porch pickup in northern Park View, less than one block from the Georgia Ave.-Petworth Metro station. Crosslisted in the Craigslist free section. Offer: 2 sets of Christmas lights (near GA Ave Metro) Gifted - Offering two sets of Christmas lights that I got from someone else and don't need/want. They are as follows: - One set of clear white lights on a green cord. I think these might be LED too, but I'm not sure. Bulb colors are red, yellow, blue, green, and purple. I tested both sets and all lights appeared to work. Offer: size SMALL nitrile disposable gloves, ~100-ct box (near GA Ave Metro) Gifted - I scored an almost-full 100-count box of nitrile (latex-free) disposable gloves from the Craigslist free section... only to discover that 1) they were size small (which was listed in the ad, but I'd overlooked it, and 2) the size small was too tight on my hands.
