Electric bass (Winsford CW7)

Hi. It's a bit of a long shot, but my neurodiverse 17yo son, who has been having guitar lessons for 12+ months has suddenly announced he wants to learn bass guitar instead! Rather than rush out and get one for him to find he actually prefers his electric or acoustic guitar, I wondered if a kind hearted soul might have one suitable for practice lurking in storage somewhere, please?
