Extendable friction-held curtain rail + short curtains (Craigmillar EH16)

Curtain rail that uses friction (or could be glued/taped) to hold itself in a windowframe and is extendable via a loose screwthread down the middle. Minimum length approx 105cm maximum length approx 120cm. Currently has two blackout curtains on it, each is about 90cm long vertically and 1m horizontally when fully extended. Originally purchased this setup to keep the sun out of my eyes while working at a computer in my south-facing living room, hence why the curtains are so short as they only needed to cover the area of the window above my monitors. Would suit similar situation or a squat wide window aperture, or you could separate them and configure them more sensibly with other kit.

Will consider separating the curtains and rail myself and giving them to different people only if I have an offer for each within a reasonable span of time.
