Internal diameter at top 60cm (23 1/2")

This is an old 220L HDPE water butt with loads of holes drilled in the bottom. Its sun faded except at the bottom where it was sunk in the ground yet still very strong.

Sink it in the ground a bit, fill it with 50/50 compost and sand or your secret champion parsnip growing mix. If necessary use canes and net to keep flies off, the height above ground ought to help?

As it's years since I grew parsnips in it, it's time I passed it on to someone who will :)
