Milk-Bottle-Tops (plastic) (Fiveways)

As with other trends from the 70s, Milk-Bottle-Tops are back IN!

but not the aluminium silver foil for the RNIB this time!

Many people seem to put the plastic lid back onto milk plastic containers after washing and then into the recycling. In fact the container is (PET) #1 and therefore DOES go into standard recycling but the lid is often (HDPE) #2 or (LDPE) #4... that is High or Low "D" Density "P" Poly "E" Ethylene" which can therefore be recycling together but NOT with (PET) #1.

And if you've got 'em, I will find a way to collect them (or for you to drop them places I go) and we can send them off to be recycled and maybe earn a small amount of pennies for some suitable charity.

<pssssst> Pass it on!
