garage (downtown salt lake city)

garage, 18 ft long x10-11 ft wide, garage was built in 1926, lies at the very back of my yard, needs to be re-roofed but ceiling structure and walls seem sound. I can't afford to have a new concrete pad poured for it. It's too close to my neighbors fence and I'd rather use the space to garden in. I can afford to have it demolished and hauled away, but not deconstructed and salvaged. that's a terrible waste of old growth timbers and cement shingles.
It has the potential to be transformed into a lovely little garden shed by someone who has the tools and know-how. I'll be applying for permit to demolish within the next couple of weeks. If you have the know-how and enough friends with the muscle this might make a cost effective and pretty little potting shed for you. You can write me at

Hopefully these free materials will be a good choice for someone.
