8 panels, 4' x 2' each. Absorbs noise. Panels were used by musicians who practiced in the garage and wanted to keep the sound from going outside the walls. They are sturdy, with burlap on the exterior and several layers of absorbent on the inside. I was going to give these to my nephew, but it didn't work out. These are fairly easy to carry and should be east to mount for walls or ceiling.
