It's easy to host a free market, just pick a time and place and invite people to come. Have the market in your home, a park or a local community center - whatever works best for you.

Contribute an article on freecycling and trashnothing.com to the school, church or other community newsletters you receive. Post on your Facebook account, tweet or write on your blog.

Most people don't know about freecycling so it's best to explain what it is and how it works. And if you have the space, it's always good to tell a personal story about how trash nothing has helped you - with examples of items you've found or things you've been able to give away.

Ask your local newspapers, radio stations or bloggers to write about freecycling and trashnothing.com. Grab their interest by telling them an memorable story based on your experiences. If you've received a lot of free stuff, tell them how much money you've saved and what you've been able to do with the free items - redecorate, clothe your family, do arts and crafts. Many organizations are happy to help promote reuse and recycling.

You might try contacting your local farmers market so you can set up a table to talk to people at the market about trash nothing. You'll probably have the most success with organizations who help people or have goals similar to trash nothing such as recycling companies, charities and non-profits, churches, and schools.
