Sofa needed due to flood (Craigmillar EH16)
Hello, does anyone have a sofa they are getting rid of? Unfortunately i was flooded (upstairs neighbour fell asleep while running a bath) and my sofas were ruined (along with most of my belongings). Details: my flat is a weird layout. The hall runs in a straight line from the front door to the bathroom door (approx 11metres). All other rooms are located on the left hand side of the hall (the layout is due to it being a high rise flat). There was water running down the landing wall outside of my front door as well as through all my ceilings. The very concrete the building is made from has Asbestos in it and the ceilings were also coated with Artex. The landlord (Edinburgh council) will remove the Artex and recoat (protective measures) the ceilings. I am in the complaints process and no doubt this will lead to small claims just to have my belongings replaced. However in the meantime i am in need of a sofa If you have a sofa you no longer require please let me know the measurements and details (the hall is narrow, new fire door thick narrowing the hall entrance further and the elevators arent the best height doors are alot shorter than the internal of the elevator etc). This would allow me to verify it can be brought into the flat which would help immensely. Any offers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
