A sincere thank you to all those who have donated either financially or with gifted items to the Hope and Aid Direct Ukraine appeal.
They currently have a further 3 trucks on their way to Slovakia for onward immediate distribution into Ukraine by trusted partners. These are packed to the gunnels with aid donated or purchased through your generosity.
Their load includes baby food, nappies, food, medical aid, toiletries, sanitary, sleeping bags, disinfection foggers (for spraying underground bunkers to avoid disease) & much more.
In addition 2 artics are taking 27 huge water tanks & 11 trailers directly into Ukraine via Poland.
We are now preparing for the next convoy and will grateful receive any donations of aid from our needs list. Scoop & Scales, The Hope Centre and Henrys Cafe kindly continue to be collection points.

The stats from Ukraine are unimaginable. 3.7 MILLION people have fled the country, while around 6.47 million internally displaced.
Another approx 12.65 million are unable or unwilling to leave conflict-effected areas.
In the meantime we do not forget all the refugees from other nations whose struggles continue.
