Can you use this classic wood butler's tray? It's dark-stained with a polyurethane (?) or similar protective coat, so it's practical indoors or outside. Outer dimensions are 17.25" x 13.75". To calculate the usable carrying area, just subtract a quarter-inch all around. It holds a lot and is easy to wipe clean. Happy to pass on to a new home.
