A friend gave me a light weight road bike which needs some TLC.
There are a couple of items I need but before I go out and buy them I was wondering if anybody has them sitting around looking for a new home.
The rear brake caliper is missing - It's the old fashioned type with a hole in the centre to bolt it to the bike frame. It doesn't need to be new, and I can clean up a certain amount of rust and grime.
The front tyre is completely bald and worn out but the inner tube seems ok.
The numbers on the side of the tyre are 25-622-128-100-700-250j 85-115PSI
This means a 25mm wide tyre with an inner diameter of 622mm.
It has the thin Presta type valve - the one with the small metal thumb screw at the top to seal it.
The tyre doesn't need to be new but it needs to have enough tread to last a while.
If anybody has these I could collect them most evenings.
