Thank you!
If you have old computers, laptops, or computer parts that you have been meaning to get rid of, don't throw them in the garbage. I will come and pick them up from you.
There are a lot of used office computers that are no longer serviceable for business, and aren't going to be interesting to computer enthusiasts for gaming, but can still run a current Windows 10 install pretty well. This is perfect to use in a lower income school, library, or community centre, so that more kids can have the opportunity to gain computer literacy and have a greater chance at a future that may otherwise completely pass them by.
Of particular interest are working laptops, especially if they came with Windows 7 or 10. These are great for students to be able to get online and learn from wherever they are living.
I catalogue the machines that I am able to rebuild for donation on my YouTube channel

My primary place for donations is the Durham Children's Aid Foundation, but I also donate to other local charities and directly to people in need.
Anything that is actually unusable I take for proper e-waste disposal so it doesn't end up in a landfill.
I do not take items to scrapyards for cash; if you have scrap you want to get paid for there are businesses in the region that do that.
Unfortunately I will not accept anything that came from a smoking house, due to the challenges with removing the smells from equipment.
