This was given to me by a friend, I think his dad bought it intending to do it up but never got round to it.
Sadly I haven't got round to it either.
It has a full set of strings which all play but they are very old so it would probably sound sweeter with a new set at some stage.
You press the wooden bars down to make the chords, there are a few springs either missing or loose, so a couple of the bars don't ping up properly, apart from that it probably just needs a good clean and tuning.
I don't think it it a particularly difficult instrument to learn.
There are a number of clips on you tube which will give you an idea of what it could sound like.
It's just begging for some TLC and someone to play it.
